The Society actively supports the aims and activities of:

Bracknell Conservation Volunteers

BCV meet every Tuesday to carry out practical conservation tasks at many sites within the Bracknell Forest area. www.bracknellcv.org.uk

Bracknell District Urban Wildlife Group

BDUWG discovers what wild plants and animals there are in the borough; presses for recognition of the value of this wildlife and its encouragement, and watches out for any threats it may face. To do this they:

  • conduct surveys of the wildlife in the borough
  • undertake and advise on management of open spaces for the benefit of wildlife
  • run projects on particular plants and animals
  • hold regular open meetings usually at outdoor sites
  • lead local wildflower walks

BDUWG membership of £2 per year provides a quarterly newsletter containing fascinating detail on our local wildlife.
