Bracknell Forest Natural History Society is for everyone interested in nature and the conservation of our wildlife and its habitats.

We run an evening programme of Monthly Meetings (from Sept to June) at which guest speakers give illustrated talks on a wide variety of natural history topics, both local and worldwide. Our meetings are held in the Recital Room at South Hill Park Arts Centre. Visitors are welcome, and there is no need to book.

We also arrange outings, field trips and social events for our members. Click here for further information on our planned Events & Outings. Visitors are very welcome.

We are involved in a variety of Outdoor Activities. Conservation projects include the restoration of woodland at Clinton's Hill and Scott's Hill. For these ventures we were awarded funds from the BIG Lottery/BBC Breathing Places scheme. We also worked on a Wildlife Patch at Allsmoor Lane, Bracknell. We are grateful to Bracknell Town Council, Syngenta and The Big Lottery for project funding.

We actively support and work in partnership with many other environmental organisations and local community groups. We have gained a Gold Award from the Bracknell Forest Partnership for involving many different groups in our Breathing Places projects. We are affiliated to BBOWT, the local branch of The Wildlife Trust.
